CLYDE E. PLETCHER
Clyde E. Pletcher of Millington, age 78, passed away Friday, April 16, 2021.

Clyde was the son of the late Bernis and Golda (Criswell) Pletcher and was born September 18, 1942, in Ortonville. Growing up in Millington, Clyde graduated from Millington High School with the class of 1960. After high school, he served our country during Vietnam in the U.S. Air Force from 1961 to 1964. On September 11, 1965, Clyde married Judy Wiacek, and together they have celebrated 55 years of marriage. Clyde retired in 2000 after 27 ½ years with the Carpenters Union Local 706. Clyde had a love for horses and served for 40 years as the 4-H Horse Leader for Tuscola County, he was member of the Buckskin Horse Association of Michigan, International Buckskin Horse Association, American Buckskin Horse Association, and the Quarter Horse Association of Michigan.
Clyde leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Judy; four children: Bernie (Mike) Pletcher, Tracey (David) Schwab, Barb (Pat Morgan) Harris, Kathy (Scott) Kirby; 14 grandchildren; and a great-grandson. Clyde also leaves a foster brother Robert Ames and a special friend Tim, several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Besides his parents, Clyde is also preceded in death by his siblings.
