Brandon Charles Smith, 23, Saginaw, is charged with possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) (second or subsequent offense). A preliminary exam is set for Feb. 27.

Robert Thomas Cornelius, 56, Port Huron is charged with operating while intoxicated (third offense – felony), possession of a controlled substance (second or subsequent offense), and carrying a concealed weapon while under the influence. A preliminary exam is set for Feb. 27.

Bryan Vincent Smigielski, 33, Clawson, is charged with operating while intoxicated (third offense – felony). A preliminary exam is set for Feb. 27.

Nicholas Andrews Edwards, 17, Kingstong, is charged with two counts of assaulting, resisting, or obstructing a police officer, and one count of disturbing the peace. A preliminary exam is set for Feb. 27.

Martin Anthony Perlaki, 64, Cass City, is charged in two separate cases with a total of three counts of failure to comply with the sex offender registration act. A preliminary exam is set for Feb. 27.

 

Circuit Court

Rowland James Parr, 23, Deford, pleaded no contest to attempted assault, resist, or obstruction of a police officer, and operating while impaired. A sentencing date is set for March 13.

Terry Michael Herman, 26, Vassar, pleaded no contest to two counts of fleeing from a police officer (fourth – vehicle code), and domestic violence (second offense). A sentencing date is to be set.

Travis Royce Bullinton, 26, Flint, was sentenced to at least 18 months in jail (credit for 93 days served) for possession of a controlled substance (cocaine, heroin, other narcotic) (second or subsequent offense), assaulting, obstructing, or resisting a police officer, fleeing a police officer (fourth – vehicle code), and operating while intoxicated. He also was ordered to pay $544 in court fines and costs.

Nicholas Nelson Jenkins, 33, Caro, pleaded no contest to attempted resisting of a police officer. A sentencing date is to be set.

Tyler Alexander Zaborney, 20, was sentenced to 199 days in jail (credit for 199 served) for assaulting, resisting or obstructing a police officer, and possession of a controlled substance (marijuana). He also was ordered to pay $1,808 in court fines and costs.

Jason Dean Irons, 47, Silverwood, was sentenced to 270 days in jail (credit for 130 served, remainder deferred) for possession of ammunition by a felon. He also was ordered to serve 18 months of probation and pay $1,508 in court fines and costs.
