Ensuring efficient government

October 31, 2009 - 08:42 a.m. EST

To the citizens of Caro:

Your voice in the Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009 election is vital to ensure a modern and efficient form of government for Caro’s future. Approval of the Caro Charter with a “yes” vote will give future Caro governments the flexibility to meet changing times and conditions with local control, by local citizens, and without taxation from the townships.

I invite you to study the details of the Caro city charter, talk to the Caro Charter Commission members and ask your neighbors about the benefits of Caro becoming a city. We look forward to the passage of this charter and encourage you to vote yes for yourself and for future generations.

Sincerely,

Dick Ransford

Chairman

Caro Charter Commission

There is no such thing as an efficient government. At least I have yet to see an example of one.
